The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is a licensure exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in India. It is mandatory for Indian citizens with medical degrees from foreign institutions who wish to practice medicine in India.
FMGE is for Indian or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have completed their MBBS from a foreign university and want to register with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Councils.
